Changing Deep Emotional Patterns

How Energy Psychology Changes Deep Emotional Patterns

David Feinstein, PhD

Does EFT tapping really work? Is it possible that tapping on the skin really does change
deep emotional learnings? Is there evidence?

The research so far:
Over 60 research studies have been conducted and published by more than 100
investigators in at least a dozen countries.
Two dozen of these studies are randomized controlled trials (RCTs)—the gold standard
of research methods.
Out of these 60 studies only one has not shown efficacy. The rest have shown positive
outcomes, often with unusual speed and range, high effect sizes, and sustained
improvement.
The results of these studies have been published in more than 15 different peer-reviewed
journals, including the Journal of Clinical Psychology, the Journal of Nervous and Mental
Disease and the APA journals Psychotherapy: Theory, Research, Practice, Training and
Review of General Psychology.
The body of research on EP (namely tapping) shows effectiveness for anxiety,
depression, PTSD, phobias, pain, food cravings, fibromyalgia, and other physical
disorders and for performance blocks.
