CAMO (complementary and alternative medicine options) for living with Rheumatiod Arthritis.

Below is a link for you to copy and paste into your URL bar. This link will connect you to the Johns Hopkins Arithritis Center. I appreciated their summary of CAMO as related to RA and hope that you too. I hope that you will find the information interesting enough to continue on with your own investigation. I encourage you, as a part of your Self Healthcare program, to try some of the approaches listed (of course, because all cases are very individual, you must include your treating physician in your plans). Proper nutrition and gentle activity such as yoga and breath work, are very important to the management of the overall inflammatory processes at work with RA. I would also encourage treatment from a Manual practice Osteopath, or a Manual Therapist. Working with a practitioner from either of those areas will allow you to receive gentle body work techniques that can improve mobility, relieve pain and improve circulation there by reducing inflammation and increasing function.  That's a mouth full I know! I hope that this information can give you a sense of hope that even though you or your loved one is living with RA, there are a wide variety of options to invite into your rehabilitation program.

Take good care of yourself!
